Well-meaning Nigerians are happy that the President-Elect is wary of political prostitutes that seek appointments and escaping from the long arm of the law, by suddenly joining APC in this new dispensation. APC should be careful not to accept negative forces like Mrs Ngozi Olejeme, who can spell doom on this great party. Let’s not be deceived, Olejeme’s suddenly hob-knobbing with APC to avoid the long arm of the law.
However, as a concerned Nigerian citizen, a tax payer and employer of labour, I am very worried about the internet publication on the scam rocking NSITF & TRUST FUND and implore the government to revisit the issues that have kept noble citizens pondering, if such internet allegations are true, should the likes of Mrs Ngozi Olejemebe parading the streets of Nigeria as a free citizen? For detailing of her fraudulent activities click here.
Government should make haste to salvage tax payers’ investment in the fund by addressing the issues published via the internet in order to restore the general confidence on the employee compensation scheme, thereby redeeming this noble organization from the hands of such hoodlums and in return, rein state the confidence of the general public on the scheme.
Such allegations shouldn’t be swept under the carpet; the need for a probe in this case cannot be over emphasized. Mrs Ngozi Olejeme and her cohorts on the board, especially the so called ’legacy staff’ of the fund who behave as if the organization is their personal property. It is sad and a very big shame that Mrs Ngozi Olejeme could use the future of the fund for selfish political ambitions and numerous investment on properties.
Now the Olejeme’s gang have swung into action, to cover their filthy tricks. The I.T department, where Mrs Catherine Ogbe the wife of Mr Mike Ogbe (a serving police officer) heads, is currently distributing the so called, ‘information security handbook’ across the fund which of course, cost billions of naira, is that the way forward for reviving the scheme from its dilapidated state? Meanwhile, what efforts are made to pay the suffering staff their allowances?
I now ask what exactly is EFCC’s position on these internet publications ?
What is the government doing to authenticate such publications and views?
These are vital questions every true Nigerian, tax payer/employer of labour should be asking.
Why not Mrs Ngozi Olejeme pay the staff allowance and quit embezzling resources of the Fund instead of distributing ineffective handbills in order to steal more money.
Thank God for the new administration that has promised to tackle and wipe-out corruption in Nigeria!!!
Concern Nigerian.
